USMLE Step 1 Pass Program Question Back.ĭuring my studying and tutoring experience for Step 1, I have found that Kaplan questions are either extremely straightforward or much more difficult and focused on minutia than UWorld.Where most med students seem to agree it could be worth it is in the length and depth of its videos – both short and succint.
I’d say Lecturio is useful for USMLE Step 1 but perhaps not the best “core material” to study from (there are much better free flashcard deck approaches in my opinion). Download test materials from NBME website or the USMLE website. I read through Kaplan physiology cover-to-cover during MS1 and I can’t emphasize enough how much this helped me dominate phys. Kaplan notes are awesome, and you definitely do not need the videos to get great use out of the notes.
